Accuracy of Content

We take every care to ensure that the descriptions and specifications of our products are correct at the time of publication. However, while we make every effort to ensure that the colour reproduction of the products is as close a representation of the original as possible, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

Orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. We shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.

Availability of Items

All items are subject to availability. If your choice is not available you will be contacted by email within 48 hours. We will be pleased to suggest an alternative design or offer a refund.

Returns & Cancellations

Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. If you want to cancel your order, you need to notify us in writing by e-mail within those seven days. Once you have notified us, any sum debited from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order, providing we are in receipt of the returned goods. Please note that the returns policy does not apply to Special Orders, i.e. where a ring has been specially made to a size. Please note that we do NOT refund the cost of postage, shipping, insurance or any taxes incurred. Returned goods must be insured. Please note pierced earrings may not be returned for reasons of hygiene. Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 14 days of being received by you.

Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you. All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any items deemed to be subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. Where possible items may be repaired on request but only where such items are deemed faulty and repairable. We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available.

In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase and any shipping costs incurred. Please note that refunds onto credit cards can take up to 30 days and are subject to your bank’s refund regulations.

Returns or exchanges must be conducted within 14 days, with the exception of jewellery made to order. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you wish to return items purchased please return insured and in the original packaging within 14 days. We cannot take responsibility for returned items not received. In order to process the refund we will need the paperwork the goods arrived with.

Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are not refunded for shipments outside the United Kingdom.

We will only accept returns provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you. We will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been worn.

You warrant that all information supplied by you in using this website is true and accurate and that you have the legal authority to purchase goods or services using this website.

By accepting these terms and conditions, you authorise us to use, store or otherwise process any personal information which relates to and identifies you to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the services which are available through our website.

Jurisdiction

This website, these terms and conditions and any contract entered into as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Liability

Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under the preceding clause and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question if returned within seven days of receipt.

You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. Certain national laws may prohibit the importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Wright & Teague. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Wright & Teague. You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose.

All Wright & Teague jewellery is designed by Gary Wright and Sheila Teague and remains their intellectual property. Any infringement of copyright will be dealt with under due process of law.

Products are displayed as accurately as possible. While every attempt is made to depict the colour of individual items, your computer monitor may show minor colour differences to the original.

Prices & Payment

All prices on the Wright & Teague eBoutique are given in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are shown inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 20% but exclusive of delivery costs.

VAT (UK Sales Tax) will be refunded on non-UK orders once the goods are shipped and we have proof of export. This refund will be credited to your original credit card.

Please note Wright & Teague eBoutique has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable. 

You must pay by debit or credit card at the time of the order. The price of any product is the price in force at the date and time of your order. We reserve the right to change prices due to market forces. We will inform you if a product's correct price is higher than that stated in your order and you may cancel the order.

We take all reasonable care to make our website as secure as possible. We will take all reasonable care to keep the details of your order and payment secure and in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site. Furthermore, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account username.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
